Headshot Style Guide — Colorado Agent Studio
Colorado Agent Studio · Headshot Happy Hour

Look good,
feel good.

This is a happy hour with a camera — not a studio session. Wear something you already love, show up as yourself, and walk away with a great lifestyle shot that complements whatever professional headshot you already have.

Heads up: We're shooting at a brewery — warm brick and wood tones everywhere. Rust, terracotta, and deep burgundy can blend right into the backdrop. Solid neutrals and jewel tones are your friends here.

What to wear

Wear what you already feel good in. Solid colors, good fit, nothing you have to tug at. That's really all it takes.
Casual-elevated is the sweet spot. Think nice jeans, a great top, a jacket you'd actually wear to a showing — not a gala, not a gym.
Texture reads great in warm light. Linen, knit, denim — all photograph beautifully in a brewery setting. Busy patterns, less so.

Hair + makeup

Your best weekend self. Brewery lighting is warm and forgiving — you don't need a full face. Defined brows, a lip color, and tamed flyaways go a long way.
Wear it how you actually wear it. The photo should look like you on a normal Tuesday — not a character you played once.
